Excellent service…Thermawood retro-fitted double glazed windows and doors on whole house, over 7yrs ago.
There was an initial problem, with the custom sealing-fittings which requiring some adjustment from the standard. This resulted in an occasional minor issue of loosening on a random window from time to time. However, Thermawood stood by their professional guarantee of workmanship, promptly fixing the problem, each time without further charge. And now the windows have stood the test of time.

I spent 10k on retrofitted windows with Thermawood a few years ago. After the first install there were a number of issues, large gaps between double hung windows, and sloppy paint work. To Thermawoods credit this was eventually resolved, but it took two attempts. It was finally resolved after a different Thermawood crew came and did the job properly. I might have been unlucky, and hopefully these issues have been resolved now.

Thermaood Cromwell retrofitted my windows many years ago.
These were old tired looking bleached 70s style aluminum windows, which were transformed by Thermaood retrofit process.
The windows looked brand new afterwards with nice new catches.
I can highly recommend Thermaood.

We had Thermawood create a new window for us. This window has a leadlight inner sandwiched between 2 pieces of glass. Great work and we are really pleased with the result.

Loved the job, but especially appreciated the fantastic team and service. It’s always a bit nerve-wracking leaving your home in someone else’s care, but they were an awesome group — always prompt, tidy, and left everything spotless at the end of each day. The full window clean was a bonus! I do, however, have one mopey dog who misses the company.

Thermawood Otago were recommended to us by our neighbours as we wanted to get our original wooden framed windows double glazed. Thermawood Otago undertook double glazing of windows in three bedrooms, one bedroom had old sash windows and one other bedroom had 8 lead lights and they also sealed around our front door. All work was undertaken to a very high standard, two windows needed frames replaced. The lead light windows look fantastic, the windows are now nicely sealed and the rooms are warmer and drier with no condensation worries. The work was done very professionally with a minimum of disruption and real care taken. Thermawood Otago was happy to accommodate our requests. We highly recommend Thermawood Otago.
