Paws Wellbeing Centre began over 16 years ago in Hamilton, with a simple mission: to provide loving, in-home care for dogs whose families needed support. Founded by Sarah, what started as dog-sitting in clients’ homes — and sometimes her own — has grown into a trusted, purpose-built dog wellbeing centre.

Today, Paws operates a state-of-the-art facility with the capacity to care for up to 120 dogs per day, along with a full grooming salon. Despite the growth, the heart of the business remains the same: treating every animal as if they were family.

The Paws team is made up of highly trained, compassionate staff who treat every dog with kindness and respect. They build real connections with both animals and their owners, creating a warm, welcoming environment. The grooming team is experienced and happy to work closely with pet parents to understand not only their preferences but what’s best for their dog’s breed, coat, and comfort. Every dog is given extra care and attention to ensure they leave happy, relaxed, and looking their best.

Transparency is a key part of the Paws experience. Clients can see into the daycare space from reception through live cameras, offering added peace of mind and a sense of connection to where their dog is spending the day.

Canine and Co is a dedicated haven for both dogs and cats, where every pet is treated with the utmost care and respect. • 20 small dog kennels located in a separate, quiet zone designed specifically for smaller breeds

Dogs enjoy access to 12 expansive exercise yards, offering plenty of room to run, play, and explore. For small dogs that enjoy companionship, three individual cottages with grassed runs provide a social yet secure environment where they can interact with other small dogs in comfort.
