Their Disability Swimming program is tailored to meet individual needs. The instructors are passionate about working with those with physical and intellectual challenges and love to celebrate each individual’s achievements and recognize the daily challenges they face.

What sets Andrea apart is the latest, cutting edge technology she uses to benefit all swimmers in their progress to achieve their swimming goals.

The Coaches Voice headsets are a bone conduction device that changes the vibration into the sound of the coaches voice. This enables the coach to speak directly to the swimmers correcting technique in real time. Andrea shares how this is a game changer for her swimmers, and is used successfully with youth and adult squad swimmers wanting to improve technique.

For those with hearing loss and deafness, the vibration changes to sound which then enables those with hearing difficulty to hear the coaches voice.

The Headsets very quickly became an integral part of Andrea’s coaching tool kit when she witnessed first hand the huge difference they made for swimmers who are blind and visually impaired, and for those with ASD and ADHD and other disabilities giving them more confidence to swim and helping improve their technique in real time.

Fulton Swim School is all about ensuring kids have fun while learning this critical life skill. Not only will the students emerge from their swim classes ready for anything swimming-related, but they’ll also emerge with higher confidence and enthusiasm around their own physical ability.

From 3 months of age through to adults they have a class to suit your needs. The content of the courses encourage safety, improvement and confidence among students in water activities, within small teaching classes.

In 2005 the Fulton Swim School Story began, from humble beginnings, Daniel Fulton, who took on a summer job in a cold outdoor pool, now has a dedicated team of around 100 passionate swimming professionals spread throughout the North Island. Fulton Swim School operates across 6 branches, teaching over 5000 swimmers a week.

At Fulton Swim School, the team understand the importance of placing swimmers in the appropriate level to ensure they receive the most effective and enjoyable experience. A comprehensive swim level assessment form is offered, designed to assist in determining the ideal swimming class for each swimmer.

They have a standard plan through all the sites, teaching throughout the levels to ensure children are constantly progressing and that all the swimmers are hitting the milestones expected. A special “make up token” system is offered. -What ever you spend, you keep. This gives you have the opportunity to make up for a missed class, using the make up token towards a new class.
