Jamie & I built with Barrett for our first home, right from day one the communication has been amazing, No hidden costs all inclusive package. The first house was that great we built a second house in Tepuke & once again, no surprises & delivered on time!

We met Di as a referral from my son, who is also using Barrett Homes for his build. After meeting with several other building companies, we kept returning to Di, as we felt vey comfortable with Di and Karl Bryant (Design Manager).Di went out of her way to ensure we made the best decision for us, as this is to be our forever home. We are very excited for the build to start.

Right from the start it has been super easy dealing with both Di and Kaylah from Barrett Homes Papamoa. Committing to a H&L package can be a daunting process for most, especially not being based locally, has been made somewhat stress free thanks to Di.
We can not wait for the build to be complete and finally be based in the sunny BOP.

Even when the rep was locking up the show home after a busy day, they were really delighted to reopen it for us. We didn’t feel rushed or like an inconvenience. We just got our keys from our first Barrett Homes house the beginning of June and we couldn’t be happier! The team at Barretts Northland were amazing throughout the whole process. Bob helped us through the process from the beginning fantastically and Renee made the selections process a breeze. Steve was great throughout the build keeping us up to date with key dates for the various stages. I’ve bragged about how easy the whole process was with Barretts to my friends who are pulling their hair out with other companies elsewhere in the country. Great team and I would highly recommend them to anyone.

My contact with Barrett Homes, Cromwell was great. I was after a small addition of a deck on the side of my house and the conversion of an existing window space into a new doorway. Barrett Homes talked me through the options, then very professionally completed the work. Very pleased with the outcome and would seek their advice for future work. The Cromwell word ‘Neplusultra’ suits my contact with them, because it means ‘as good as it gets’!

I absolutely love my Barrett Home. We knew as soon as we went through the show home that we wanted to build a Barrett Home. Nothing but 5 stars, everyone told us how stressful building is, we didn’t experience that at all with Barrett. If we needed something done or changed it was done just like that. I have built 3 Houses with Barrett Homes, with the most recent being my family home. From the start the whole process is made incredibly easy and comfortable, just like buying bread and milk from your local dairy. Any issues that arose were dealt with promptly, the “basic” fixtures included are more than basic, and if the many options shown within their immaculate consultation room at their HQ aren’t exactly what you want they guide you down to the suppliers to choose from more. The staff and contractors from start to finish were all amazing and you job proud. The aftercare they provide is also amazing, any issues are reacted to immediately and rectified. I will build with Barrett again and I highly recommend them for building a home and investment.

From my first meeting with the team at Barretts I felt impressed and confident with what they had to offer. The build process was easy and I was kept well informed. The procedure to chose fixtures, fittings, exterior and interior was fun and came with well informed advice. End result was more than I had imagined with a high standard of finish. I would build with Barrett homes again.

We had a tricky site that couldn’t have a standard house plan put on it. We were new to the build experience and had gone through the process with another build company only to find we couldn’t proceed with them as they produced a design that didn’t suit our site and that blew our budget completely.
We can happily say that we made the right choice switching to Barrett Homes. They made the whole experience pleasurable and successfully came up with an amazing design to fit our site which turned into our much loved home. Can highly recommend as they know their stuff!

Covid stopped the build at framing stage but once Barrett Homes were able to start they pushed on and pulled out all the stops to get us in.
