We ordered a 15 sqm POD during lockdown to accommodate extra family members… and we loved it so much we bought another two with decks, cedar screens and floor-to-ceiling glass panels. Now teen-to-twenties kids have their own spaces when home, I have my own girl cave/ smoko room, and they look fab behind our 1970s house, very much suiting the style. The PODS arrived on the truck at 7am one morning and by 11.30 the kids were moving in and I was planting 58 hedging plants around the decks! One of our PODs had quite an offroad journey up a hill to its site, where it has great views. The best part was: no mess; no mud; no builders on site for weeks. Ahna and James are lovely people to deal with, and this is a quality product.

I had done a lot of work to find a company in the South Island that would make what I wanted, to as high a quality and at a reasonable price, however Podlife were able to do this easily even considering the the delivery cost. The communication with me throughout the process was very timely and helpful, and I had no concerns. They even helped organise delivery alongside other South Island deliveries which kept the delivery cost as low as it could be, saving me about $5K. The Pod itself is great! Highly recommended.

I just wanted to drop a note to thank you for the work over the last 12-15 months. It was definitely a bit of an epic journey there at times, and the helo lift-in was definitely a fitting heart-stopper… to add more drama to the story.

Ahna the comms and clear explanations at the start of the process was awesome, then working with Steve for months on how we could design this project was challenging but fun, Steve was excellent and very practical and a key part of the success of this project. Nikita was so good at keeping me updated and coordinating the project along the way, I knew in dealing with both Nikita and Steve we would find solutions – and they did!

It will continue to amaze me, but the work of Mark and Dave with the helo-lift was crazy, I have never seen that sought of precision before! And Warren driving through the night saved the day in the end there…

Working with PodLife has been a great experience. I found them by searching online and the process from start to finish has been incredibly good. Despite all the delivery issues with Covid, I was kept informed the whole way and the Pods were delivered on exactly the date and time that I was given. I have to say how impressed I am with all the contractors that PodLife have partnered with. The Stop Digging crew who put in my foundation piles were always on time and worked through some tricky conditions to make sure that my Pods could be safely installed. And then Warren from WozHIAB who delivered the Pods was an absolute wonder!! I confess that I had started to get a bit nervous as I had bought my Pods sight unseen – I had only looked at online pictures and testimonials – and I really wasn’t certain how the delivery would work. I needn’t have worried! Warren arrived at exactly the time he said he would and proceeded to single-handedly place the Pods on their foundations. He then went one step better and ensured that everything was installed correctly inside and outside and took me through the whole setup.

I am thrilled with my Pods and love that although they are very modern they blend right into the landscape and look quite lovely alongside my mother’s heritage cottage!

The time from ordering to Delivery was not as long as we anticipated and delivery went well.

We were looking for an outside room for our oldest son who is a Dj. The pod we have was exactly what we needed. Very well built and fittings are excellent. Added a deck so we have an additional space to chill/entertaining- Recommend Podlife to all.

The entire process was without doubt one of the easiest we have had.Customer service was fantastic.One of the best companies we have ever dealt with.

I really enjoyed my experience with buying my pod from Podlife. It was simple, clear and the team were helpful and prompt. I didn’t actually ask many questions about my pod itself before ordering it (besides getting the foundations right) and when it arrived it really exceeded my expectations. It was such a buzz to have it delivered and it was ready to move into straight away. Its my work office/studio and we have built stairs and deck on the front of it for easy access and my clients absolutely love the space! The clever magnetic walls are great and its looking beautiful in there. I would highly recommend Podlife to anyone looking for a pod.

From start to finish the whole process was seamless and hassle free, the team at podlife are friendly and so easy to deal with! They even moved my delivery date forward by 2 months due to other circumstances to other builds (council consents etc).

Delivery was quick, efficient and the guy was a total professional.

I would recommend having an AC unit installed (as I have done) as the pods can get unbearably hot during the summer months.

We found the entire experience a breeze – from design and selection through to delivery. We are using the POD along with tents while our house is delivered – the POD will then become our self contained guess accommodation. We would highly recommend the POD for a Bach or extra accommodation. The POD team were great to deal with.

Happy with the finished product and customer service. Communication throughout was great. Overall happy with the quality of the build so far and the ease at which to organise everything.
