Samson Safety Solutions are Bay of Plenty’s most trusted Safety Advisors

Samson Safety Solutions provide accredited health and safety support to help businesses improve their workplace health and safety culture and management systems. Where applicable, we work alongside businesses to develop new management systems or update existing policies and procedures. We also offer independent site safety inspections, document audits, contractor prequalification support and ongoing mentoring / coaching as required.

We work primarily with small to medium-sized businesses with the potential of exposure to moderate/high risks and have many clients in the kiwifruit & rural contracting industry and engineering, fabrication, manufacturing and construction sectors.

We work closely with each client and get to know their businesses associated risks before helping to develop health and safety management systems and controls that best align with the work they do. We follow that up with ongoing mentoring to help improve engagement.

  • Bespoke Health & Safety Management Plans – Samson Safety Solutions will help your business create customised health & safety policies and procedures, that comply with New Zealand’s health and safety legislative framework. We pride ourselves in looking after our clients from the initial consultation to long term working relationships.
  • Health and Safety Support – Ongoing support which may include reviewing and updating systems, site safety inspections, document audits, organising training, running/attending safety meetings, assisting with pre-qualification assessments, contractor management or managing incident investigation.
  • Coaching and safety engagement with staff – Regularly onsite, interacting with frontline workers, and encouraging participation, one on one and via toolbox talks.
