was looking at a house to purchase (largest spend ever in most peoples lives) and to be sensible I requested Dean to do another inspection over and above the supplied one in the listing.
Not only was Dean able to fit me in the next day (not the usual thing I have encountered) but he was able to identify some issues with the place that – of course – were not listed in the vendor supplied report. Great report- Deans report is much more inclusive than his competitors and covers the sub floor with a robot!- most building reports no longer include inspection into floor spaces so this a real advantage of Deans reports.

I appreciated Dean’s prompt response and doing the inspection at short notice. He provided a comprehensive report, which confirmed what I had surmised about the property, but also added new information. He inspected areas which I could not get to (under the house and in the ceiling cavity). I would not have known about the lack of foundations or the dampness underneath the building. The report came back early the next day and even with a new build he picked up on something and gave handy hints on how to fix them.

He gave us confidence in the matters raised during the inspection and that we could trust his insight and knowledge. Timeliness being early January Dean went above and beyond capturing a cancellation enabled quick due diligence. I was looking at a house to purchase (largest spend ever in most people’s lives) and to be sensible I requested Dean to do another inspection over and above the supplied one in the listing.
Not only was Dean able to fit me in the next day (not the usual thing I have encountered) but he was able to identify some issues with the place that – of course – were not listed in the vendor supplied report. For something that is going to cost more money than most people these days want to spend, you want peace of mind – and I was able to make a decision after receiving the extra information Dean was able to provide.
