Tauranga Swim School – Passionate about delivering high quality learn to swim and water safety programs.

 

The team at Tauranga Swim School believe that swimming motivates and promotes a healthy lifestyle, cultivating a positive mental attitude and high self-esteem. Sessions are available for swimmers of all ages & abilities. They deliver a high quality, creative, fun and fast moving program that everyone will enjoy, while at the same time achieving a greater level of water confidence and also the ability to swim.

Classes vary from babies aqua class to adults, youth and adult squad academy and learn to swim, triathlete swimming, disability swimming, aqua-phobia, police swimming competency, water safety school program or even private lessons at the comfort of your own home.

With many years of experience in teaching children, adults and those with disabilities, owner/operator, Andrea Sinden is passionate about swimming and leads the Tauranga Swim School team with motivation and drive, encouraging excellence from all her staff.

The team at Tauranga Swim School believe that swimming is a life skill that everyone must have.

Their Disability Swimming program is tailored to meet individual needs. The instructors are passionate about working with those with physical and intellectual challenges and love to celebrate each individual’s achievements and recognize the daily challenges they face. Andrea uses special headsets to communicate with swimmers // blind and visually impaired students, giving them more confidence to swim.

Andrea is a brilliant swimming teacher. She has taken me from fearing deep water to swimming a whole lap in it. I enjoy how Andrea is very encouraging and helpful. She’s a really good swimming teacher and I recommend her to everybody.

I’m glad that I have learnt the techniques for my strokes and startings. I enjoy when we do a little game at the end of the lesson. The lessons helped me in my swimming sports this year. I would like to keep trying hard so that I can go up a level.
