We design and build a diverse range of community infrastructure including commercial and residential developments, local body infrastructure, car parks and sports infrastructure.
Our residential team offer a comprehensive civil contracting service to clients from Councils to Private Landowners to construct retaining walls, drainage, widenings, driveways, stabilisation, chipsealing, asphalt construction and even entire subdivisions. No job is too big or small!
With the ability handle all aspects of a contract from earthworks to drainage, sub-grade improvement and shaping, pavement construction, pavement stabilisation and rehabilitation, kerbing, traffic services and signage, sealing, road milling, asphalt paving, roading, and road maintenance.
- Drainage: Providing the complete service that includes project management, excavation, and installation of pipework, controlled backfill, and road reinstatement.
- Siteworks: Services for residential and commercial building and industrial sites. This includes earthworks, site clearing, subgrade preparation and supply and placement of aggregate layers for building foundations and hardstands.
- Pavement stabilisation: Allows pre-existing pavements to be recycled to create strong, high quality pavement.
- Surfacing: Asphalt surfacing and Chip seal
- Chip Seal provides a durable and cost effective road surfacing option. It’s also ideal for farm and rural driveways.
- Asphalt surfacing, our asphalt plants utilise the latest technology to blend and mix aggregate, bitumen, modifiers, polymers, fillers, and pelletised fibre. Higgins covers the complete spectrum of asphalt mixes – from hard-wearing rut resistant mixes like SMA (stone mastic asphalt) to open mixes designed for lower noise and better water dispersion.
