Flavio has been grooming both my Samoyed and Spitz regularly over the past few years and does the most amazing job. The dogs love going to see him and come back relaxed and happy everytime which is so important to us! It’s quite a drive, being on the other side of town but it is so worth it, we wouldn’t see any other groomers now. Showdogs is such a great spot with a great team and they are very deserving of a “most trusted” title – I don’t trust many people with my babies but trust Flavio/showdogs wholeheartedly.

Show dogs do an amazing job at turning my smelly, dirty, scruffy golden retriever who spends his days on the farm getting as dirty as possible, rolling in rotten stuff and swimming anywhere possible into the most beautiful, clean, tidy and delicious smelling dog! By far the best groomers in town! I recently took my cat to Show Dogs in Mt Maunganui for grooming, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their service. From the moment we walked in, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, putting both me and my cat at ease.

The grooming itself was exceptional. My cat came out looking and feeling fantastic, with a beautifully groomed coat that was soft and tangle-free. The groomers clearly have a lot of experience and a genuine love for animals, which was evident in how gently and patiently they handled my cat.

Hi we have been taking our dog to Showdogs for years. They go above and beyond to make sure the dog and dog owner receive a great service. On one occasion we were late to pick up our dog and Fabio stayed behind after hours until we got there even though he was going away for the weekend. He was so gracious about it. And he always checks we are happy with the groom when we pick our dog up, and he does any extra trimming we request on pick-up. Our dog has never been nicked or cut there unlike other places we have tried out in the past. They are great at offering stand-by appointments too. Love these guys. They deserve this award. Vicki

Coco loved going to showdogs. Always came home smelling Devine and a wee sticker on her head. Such a friendly team who I have a lot of respect for. I certainly miss my visits now coco has passed. I might need you take my fat hairy cat in lol . Cheers Kylie

Have been taking our dog to showdogs for 10years he is 12 we tried another groomer for 2 years and had to return as they were hopeless. Flavio is always a real joy and Bronson loves his spa visit

Flavio and his team are just amazing. So professional but so friendly and they do most fantastic job at grooming. I have a cairn terrier that requires hand stripping and flavio does a simply super job . My dogs looks amazing when she’s been groomed and smells delicious. Jessie loves Showdogs. She is a nervous girl but is treated with such compassion. We travel from Auckland to the Mount about every six weeks for her to be groomed. Always beautifully finished, smells great and is happy. Wonderful service and people.
