Outstanding service and super professional job on our Gordon setter. From an unruly shambles of a dog to a super star in just few hours.

We have been taking our Ragdoll cat Norman to Carol & Flavio @ Show Dogs for the last few years after a really poor grooming experience elsewhere. The care they show all the animals is so obvious and Norman has never looked better! They are such a talented team on all their animals but the work they do with long hair cats is exceptional – so experienced and professional and always check in if they need to do anything outside of the normal. Can’t recommend or rate them highly enough – absolute STARS!!!

Owner of a Golden Retriever and Border Terrier . Our Golden is very nervous but he was handled very gently . Our border gets hand stripped often they do a fantastic job . The atmosphere is very friendly , relaxed , polite and professional .

Our Cavoodle loves going to Showdogs. Even though he has anxiety, he still runs in there happily each time to see his friends. Everyone on the team are so kind and no matter how busy they are, Nico comes out looking and smelling gorgeous. We drive from the other side of Tauranga to take Nico to Showdogs and wouldn’t think about going anywhere else.

Maizie loves show dogs! They are so caring even when she has knots. She used to go to a different groomer who said I must give her a tranquilizer! So I never went back. The lovely staff at show dogs treat her firmly but kindly i’ ll never go anywhere else even though its a 45 minute drive.

I took my cat Ralph for his first ever groom , I expected it to be a nightmare for him as he has never been for one before and was pretty matted being a ragdoll. He came back super relaxed and happy and smelling amazing. I would definitely recommend show dogs !

We have been bringing our Scottish terrier to Showdogs since we moved to Tauranga four years ago and we are so happy with their services. They are consistently excellent in terms of grooming skills, but also with their warm and friendly approach. We have no reservations in recommending them to all our furry friends.

Flavio has been grooming both my Samoyed and Spitz regularly over the past few years and does the most amazing job. The dogs love going to see him and come back relaxed and happy everytime which is so important to us! It’s quite a drive, being on the other side of town but it is so worth it, we wouldn’t see any other groomers now. Showdogs is such a great spot with a great team and they are very deserving of a “most trusted” title – I don’t trust many people with my babies but trust Flavio/showdogs wholeheartedly.

They are the best groomers in NZ, not just Tauranga.

Archie loves going to showdogs for a seated and groom! Which is particularly impressive given how much he hates the bath and bush at home! He come home looking so good and smells amazing for over a week afterwards! Highly recommend!
