And I’ve received ear services from a few providers, even ENT specialists at the hospital who couldn’t get to the bottom of my issues, and the time between appointments can be months! Thanks Tolbecs for getting me in so quickly every time. Easy to book, parking is easy, staff are friendly and knowledgeable and I can now say I don’t require ENT, my ears health is now managed and monitored and I won’t go anywhere else!

Excellent service. Like no other I’ve experienced. I was nervous. I had never been to an ear clinic before, and I was in a considerable amount of pain, and an unsettled 8 week old baby who screamed the place down, but the manager was quick to swoop in to the waiting room out of her office when I was called for my appointment and offered to take care of my baby whilst I had my appointment. I think she is secretly a baby whisperer! Quiet sleeping baby within minutes and gave the best cuddles. The receptionist was so friendly and understanding, the nurse provided such a detailed assessment and fixed my ear pain and the manager was just so kind and caring and so so helpful. I really appreciate you Tolbecs. Every single part of my visit was taken care of and I will definitely recommend to others Thankyou!

Thank you to the Ear Clinic team for looking after my ears! The micro-suctioning was very interesting. It did not hurt at all, plus I was able to see what they are doing on the tv screen. Very good service. Would highly recommend.

A miracle occurred today! Pain-free ear suction, all explained thoroughly – no anxiety.

As a Commercial Construction firm, managing staff health and safety concerns is something we are constantly addressing. We noted a lack of documentation concerning hearing for our staff. It would have been difficult to measure any hearing issues as we had no comparison records available. A decision was made to get a baseline for each staff member.

We chose TOLBECS as a hearing tester to help us out with this, mainly as a consequence of hearing their rather humorous adverts on the radio. They seemed like a likeable bunch so I offered to go as the company guinea pig to find out more about the service and the process. I was really impressed – they were friendly, helpful and it wasn’t a bit like going to the Dentist!

Now the firm has paid for the staff to go and get their hearing tested. We paid for it because as a responsible employer it’s important to look after staff’s health and because it gave us some independent and credible records that if needed would be available to us.

We’d recommend TOLBECS to other businesses because they’re flexible, likeable and really easy to work with!

What a wonderful experience to bring my 13 year old daughter to TOLBECS. She had been complaining about a sore ear on and off for a couple of months. When we saw the Ear Nurse, she explained exactly what the problem was. What impressed me most was that having identified the problem the Nurse then told her it could be fixed and showed her how she could do it, and what would happen if she didn’t. A month later she is breathing through her nose (a new experience), popping her ears and hasn’t mentioned sore ears. In these days where physical problems are often fixed with taking ‘stuff’ or having ‘stuff’ done to you, TOLBECS approach was refreshing and empowering

The ladies at TOLBECS were amazing. Our visit was very successful and my little 6 year old girl enjoyed every minute with the Nurses. We have had 6 years of off and on ear problems, uncountable and pricey visits to Ear Specialists, but I can honestly say my money spent yesterday at TOLBECS was the best money we have spent!! Many, many, many thanks for making our little girls ear better, and the advice you gave us – appreciate the chat totally.

On our way home Samantha was hearing me talk to her without me having to turn around and look at her – she commented that she could hear better now! Excellent customer service from everyone at TOLBECS! Keep up the awesome work, families need more people like you in our health sector!

Gentle, and caring

I went in for a routine microsuction. I was blown away by the service! My nurse was so friendly, patient and educated/explained to me what she was doing. I got to actually SEE the procedure happening via mirror and TV which was super cool. Really enjoyable appointment and of course my ears are feeling great now.

Time was made for me to see consultant, who was wonderful, put you at your ease, told you everything before she did it, had a laugh and a chat with you, talked you through what was going on as you watched it on big screen. Explained everything fully and followed up too.

Ear nurse was absolutely amazing. Cool technology and now my hearing is much better. Friendly staff all-round. Like the fact they send you a reminder in a years time because it’s something I need annually that’s for sure!

My adult son is autistic with an intellectual disability. Tolbecs,, was amazing. The nurse communicated clearly with him each step of the way what she would be doing, the tools she would be using & what it would feel or sound like. My 2-year-old son had an appointment to have his ears cleaned and checked. The staff were so friendly and patient. They played games with my son so that he was happy when the cleaning was happening. Everything was really well explained. Great experience

Our 5-year-old was anxious about attending her appointment. The nurse was amazing. Super child-centered and playful. She put our daughter at ease and allowed her to see the wax removal as it happened. Recommend Tolbecs without hesitation and feel relieved to have a non-stressful medical procedure for our little one.

I have been a regular user of Tolbecs services in Hamilton East for a couple of years now and find them a wonderful team to help me maintain the health of my ears. Particularly appreciate the ease of the online booking service, and quite often find that if I ring directly there may be an appointment sooner than what is shown on the booking scheduler. Also appreciate their willingness to ring if a cancellation comes in before my appointment comes up. Highly recommended for professionalism, friendliness and helpfulness.
