We recently had two large eight panel windows replaced in our house with bespoke double glazed ones to match the style of our historic house. Stephen was quick to come measure and get us sorted. The windows are beautiful and have kept the character of our home while bringing us into the 21st century! They talked us through all the considerations and things we’d need to do for install, finishing and maintenance.

My first encounter with Well Hung Joinery was when I purchased two rental properties that needed new kitchens at a competitive price. I needed good quality that would stand up to rough treatment from tenants.
I was not disappointed. Stephen came up with a simple layout that trnsformed the preciously run-down kitchens. In fact the design and layout became a big factor in finding quality tenants that stayed on for yeears.
Some years later I engaged Well Hung to replace the aging kitchen in our home. This was different. I wanted top quality. A design that gave maximum storage space with no bending down at floor level nor cupboards so high they’d be out of reach. Steve came up with these amazing pull-down fittings that made every high cupboard reachable. My wife and I felt that Stephen listened to every request we had, then came up with ideas that met our needs. We loved the way Stephen gave honest opinions as to what would work best to suit our needs.

I can’t rave about Well Hung Joinery enough – their attention to detail is second to none along with their work ethic. We are so happy with our amazing new scullery & hot water cupboard shelving. In 2010 and 2011 Well Hung installed double glazing & replaced all opening window sashes in our 1960’s house. They replaced one pane after 9 years under guarantee at no cost. In 2026 when one door seal required replacement they provided the seal at no cost. Well Hung have done a professional & excellent job, with follow-up support. The double glazing cut our electricity costs on 2 heat pumps by over 50%. We fully recommend Well Hung!1
