Most Trusted Member Code of Ethics
Most Trusted is a database of Trusted New Zealand Businesses and runs the Annual Most Trusted Business Awards.
All Businesses profiled on Most Trusted or that receive a Business Award must comply with the following code of Ethics, which reflect a high standard of integrity.
- Law Abiding – All NZ Laws must be obeyed, including NZ tax law
- Financially Responsible – Business financial situation must be maintained with a responsible level of risk to protect stakeholders. Financial systems and processes reflect good supplier relationships.
- Management is Contactable – Business Owners and Managers must be reasonably contactable by all stakeholders.
- New Zealand Based – Physically operating from New Zealand. Operations and Owners based in New Zealand and are New Zealand citizens.
- Qualified – Staff and products are certified and qualified and go above industry norms.
- Open for Public feedback – Business will be open to feedback from the public. Most Trusted provide businesses with a way to receive votes and reviews.
- Honesty, integrity, and professionalism are integrated into the business. Going above and beyond for customers is a general characteristic of a trusted company.
